Hurricane vs Hurricane (Rotol)
What if any are the differences in stats?
|
The item in parentheses is the propeller type. The DH-20 is a two-stage propeller, whereas the Rotol is a constant-speed prop.
The Rotol should be better in almost every way, since with the 2-stage prop it's only efficient at one single speed/RPM, which means in combat it's either overspeeding or not being used 100%. |
Tavignon you've got superb explanation from CaptainDoggles, if you want to get more insight about propeller types, watch following video (it's about Spitfire, but as for the Hurricanes - propellers and engines were identical (well, almost))

And when you're done learning that get online on ATAG server comms tonight so we can show you how to use it :)

Great explanation, I thought maybe it had metal wings!
|
No, but later Spits had metal ailerons. I wonder if this will be modelled?
The Spitfire equivalent is the DeHaviland CSP, does the same thing as the Rotol CSP. |
