A rumour

Is it true that if you rename the intro movie, that the game runs a lot faster? I dont want to change anything..:(

Just delete it, it can have an adverse effect on ATI cards I believe, forcing them to clock down processing speeds.

I've done it but not noticed any difference. I have nVidia GPU's though....

It helps if you have a Ati but it have no effect on NVidia.
I've a Ati, after deleting/renaming i get less stutters.

for me it helped a lot in performance...i can really recommend it if you have an ATI card

IIRC it comes back with every game update, so you have to redo it.

Yep, helped me, what is weird that devs do nothing for it, only we get same **** again in every patch.

I think it is not fullscreen application and your ATI goes to 2D speed and not changing to 3D speeds when game starts.

I tried it after work, works like a dream!! Literally can't believe how much difference it made:grin::grin::grin::grin:

This makes no sense at all to me.

I've got an Ati Radion Graphics card.. This was like a magic bullet, game runs real smooth now.. Feels like someones slapped a super patch on..
