CloD doesn't start any more :(
 

Some moments ago I experienced that CloD doesn't start any more. I doubleclick the icon, the steam status changes to "Ingame Il-2 Cliffs..." and a few seconds later it alters back to blue "online". Obviously nothing more happens.

Before all was fine. Some hours ago I had trouble with my .NET framework as the regularly updates didn't work so I decided to remove the complete dotNet to make a clean installation afterwards. Unfortunately I didn't manage to reinstall the dotNet thingy yet.

Are there any dependencies between steam/launcher and .NET? RO and RO2 starting via steam though.

Some other ideas why the launcher doesnt start?

Problem solved. msi installer has been repaired, NET framework installer newly. But the most important: CloD is running again :)

Yes, this happened to me. I reinstalled the Frame.net and updated all my video drivers and it worked.

Go to:

http://www.microsoft.com/net/download

And select the download option depending on if your system is x86 och x64 (I recommend downloading the full installer instead of the web install)
