Midway Island QMB now available for download
 

Use the Quick Mission Builder to generate missions using the Midway Island map. :)

The files in this download should allow you to use the Midway map to generate missions using the QMB. The QMB templates were made with v4.10.1m of IL-2 Sturmovik 1946.

I did not use the Armor or Bridge categories.

Enclosed in the download are the "Midway" and "Midway1" Quick templates for the Midway map, a skin by Beebop for the B-17E, and some Quicks for you to use to familiarize yourself with the "Midway" and "Midway1" QMB templates. On the "Midway" templates the Allies occupy the island and on the "Midway1" templates the Axis forces occupy the island.

Its pretty fun! I did a few runs with Dauntless and (the new AI) Devastators and Avengers in our Beta version against the japanese fleet. I very like, that you are almost at the target and the japanese airplanes are just starting from the carriers.

Nice touch also with random AI planes appearing on the scene, like the Catalina or B17.
Its almost a full blown coop with a few clicks.

Lol, you are making me jealous that you can use the Devastators and the new AI routines. I hadn't thought about anyone being able to use them with this QMB pack. It is good to know that the stuff being released with v4.11m won't cause any really weird behavior in the missions. :cool:
