Directional Gyro doesn't work

When you spawn into any airfield, the Directional Gyro always point 0 degrees, when it should point to the magnetic heading of the airplane.
Also, if you set your compass into the right heading, and you start to fly, it doesn't point correctly.
Does anyone knows how to solve this problem? I posted this thread some weeks ago in the issues section, but got no answer.
Thanks

Are you setting the directional gyro up from the compass? you need to work out your current position before you head off, and then set your directional gyro to that...

Reading some of the material around, pilots had to regularly adjust their directional gyros as they would slowly lose their position.

Wouldn't that depend on your position? :)
