Config.ini problem

I loaded the game to test some new settings tonight and whammmmmmmmmm. I go to controls and everything is blank. No key settings at all. I load my custon Me 109 config and whammm everything is blank. I checked teh cong.ini in my Ubisoft directory and there are entries tehre but when i load it and check there are no axis or key settings... evrything blank.

any ideas what is going on or how I can possibly recover my custom settings?

conf.ini = settings for the game

confuser.ini = settings for joystick, keyboard mapping

The confuser.ini is the one in use.
You have the possibility however to also save the keyboard configuration under a separate filename and re-load it at your convenience (a major improvement compared to IL2FB). As I understand you saved your settings once under custon Me 109 config.
Do you remember the name of the custon Me 109 config file? I presume you do because you mentionned you re-loaded it.
Just find your custon Me 109 config file with the explorer and open it with the Text Editor in order to check the contents.

grathos...thanks. I didn't know about the confuser.ini file. I will check it. i did open my Me109 file and it was completely blank as if everything got erased in it. Up until yesterday it loaded jsut fine with all of my key settings. I will try reloading the the confuser.ini file.
