Whatever happened to...

... the developers diary?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_62dsSBFsDM

Now I know the developers are all hard at work and things like this take a while to produce - but wouldn't a "Part 2" help drum up more sales and satisfy the need for more comms with the community? As somebody else pointed out... Christmas is just around the corner!

I think the game is awesome, real quality, and can only get better with addons and fixes.

At least the are inconsistent, consistently. It's nice to have something you can rely on.

Wouldn't you rather they fix the game?

I'd like them to keep working on it yes - but I do wonder about the revenue stream. At the end of the day its a business - and they need money coming in to pay their overheads and to re-invest. How do they do that? More sales. How do they get more sales? The good words of so many people on this forum or by direct promotion or both?

Fact is that there still remains a lot of negativity around here. I'm not complaining about that at all - everbody is entitled to express their opinion - and why not, yes the game has bugs a plenty. But IMHO, I think a "Part 2" which
  1. Highlighted the state of the game and what had been done so far,
  2. Promoted the positive aspects of the game, and
  3. Hinted at the future growth path
Would do a lot to connect with the community and drive more sales. The last point is of course some news we are all waiting for anyway.

Lastly, why call the video "Part 1" if you've no intention of doing further parts?
