A plead to Luthier about the Bf-110 cockpit

I'm not an expert historian or anything, maybe the Bf-110 cockpit is more historically correct now than before but dear lord it looks terrible, IMO. I don't know guys, look at the before patch and after patch version.

I took this screenshot from a youtube vid since I didn't have any pre-patch Bf-110 shots but you can clearly see the difference.

This is the current cockpit: 1. What's with the glow? Is the instrument glass colored yellowish for some reason or is it some kind of instrument light? Can't turn it off, believe me I've tried. 2. Is this some kind of wooden panel/border? whatever it is it looks like it's been cut out from a 15 year old Nintendo 64 game, absolutely awful.

I'm not the one to normally react to details like these but the Bf-110 cockpit was absolutely stunning before, a work of art almost. It's subjective of course but...argh! just look at it! Might as well fly the IL-2 46 Bf-110 instead. Please Luthier if you're reading this -probably aren't- re-consider restoring the 110 cockpit to it's former glory.

Hm... Though I'm flying just since the last patch for the first time I have to admit that the upper cockpit is looking much better.

It's the very complex, and very accurate (IMHO) lighting.......
Look in the lower right of the first picture and you'll see the
same color look on a corner of a glass dial.

That's right, it wasn't there in the beta.

I noticed that too...I think its the bug...related to gauge glass cover colors/alpha?

Hope you're right.

I hope this will be corrected this seems to be a bug. Not a planned change i assume.

it looks like a bug since all other in cockpit colors and shadows are ok....

to like or not to like

Hmm I'm not sure guys... I'd agree that the previous me110 is nice but the yellow tinted glass seems more realistic. Just think about it like glare of a tv/ monitor...
