Fw190A question

The information I have on the Fw190A-8 with auxiliary fuselage tank has the Centre of Gravity 132mm forward of the spar datum line.

So the question. What would be the changes in the Centre of Gravity position for the following:

- no outer wing guns
- MK108 in outer wing gun position (/R2)
- with full drop tank
- with 210 mm rockets (/R6)
- with WB121 gun pods (/R1)
- with MK103 gun pods (/R3)

Thanks

You would have to know the weight of the aircraft and then subtract the weight of what you listed...to include fuel and pilot...Then you can calculate the w/b.

This oughta be interesting....

yeah distance *each mass all divided by the whole mass

Why would you want to know? Have you got one and perhaps intend to invade a neighboring country?
The center of gravity in an ww2 combat AC would be constantly changing as fuel and ordnance is used.

Thanks for stating the obvious.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

When loaded, the a/c has to within a certain C/G tolerance.

I guess the question is too difficult for gamers to answer.

The obvious, mmm. SO you have got one. What country are you invading first?

you have a whole that weights 100 km with the cog in the center wheres the new cog if you take one kg at one m distanceof the cog?

(1*1)/100=0.01m

Evey thing you listed is located on (or very close) to the aircrafts CG so that the pilot only needs small amounts of trim adjustments as these items are added or removed from the aircraft.

Why do you ask?
