NVIDIA control panel profile settings do nothing at all for me
 

Using beta 285.38 (because of Rage issues). I am trying to follow the PC Pilot tweaking guide but when I create a profile the settings do not carry through to the game, (assigned to ‘launcher.exe’). I’ve tested the “black death” track with everything off and everything on, (AA, AF, VSync, etc), and no difference in GFX quality or frame rates.

Before I roll back my drivers, (assuming it’s a beta issue), has anyone else come across this with this driver set? I don’t really want to uninstall them as they work fine with Falcon BMS, Rage, etc.

There are a couple of posts here with similar issues. Should we stick to in-game settings or use summat like rivatuner or NHancer?

Before i waste more time it would be good to know that one of these options actually work.:grin:

It will only obey the Global parameters you set.
I have verified this with V-sync and other settings.

what a pain in the arse! whats the bloody point of profiles then?
