Repka Steppe Mission - please try it and have fun
 
Repka runs a new mission on Steppe map.

The map is medium size which gives it an advantage of being fun with just a few players as well as enough room for tactical thinking that can compensate any limitations of a particular aircraft.

The new feature is limited number of bonus planes: Spit 2s and 109-E4, that will make fighting enjoyable for both sides as we hope.
It is planned that number of available bonus planes will depend on objectives completion starting with mission version v.1.05.

EDIT: Added submissions with random bomber flights. More submissions of various types will be added later.
EDIT: Added on-screen messages giving update on objectives .
EDIT: Added permanent international English-speaking channels to Repka community TS3: ts13.forteam.ru:10117 pass: sukhoi .

There are plenty of targets for bombers as you can see on the map. The key objective is to maintain air superiority over D4 area in preparation for a ground attack.

Destroy enemy armor which is concentrating near cities and in small forests. When tanks are destroyed destroy as many enemy ships as possible.

I edited the link plus some additional information into the OP.

Therefore the servers stay at recent Beta 2. Please download and apply the hotfix, check out if antyepilepsy is OFF in conf.ini, and sound settings are correct, etc.

Extract the contents to your

StereoMode
Key value (which by the way can enable 3D stereo on compatible hardware, if you’re willing to test this even further)
It can be either 0 (OFF)o r 1 (ON). If it’s anything else – and we’re trying to figure out why it went haywire on one tester’s machine – then manually set it to 0.

Mission updated.

Bombers now can create groups of up to 4 planes at special Bombers Airfields (see map).

Frontline airfields are not available for takeoff.

Thank you for active testing!
Will be adding some more scripts tonight to clean AI and reduce lag.

Please try setting your network speed to ISDN or xDSL maximum to prevent lag, compare and report the results please.

New v.1.04 is up
- added removal of abandoned aircraft for better performance
- added random bomber attack on airfield
- added Messaging System
- ground targets are temporary shown on ingame map (enemy aircrafts are not shown)

Follow onscreen objectives and have fun!

The mission runs on Repka #2 now.

Could you advise if you get English messages on screen and in chat?
Let me know if you get any Russian messages instead.

Or maybe someone can PM me the maddox.dll (responsible for language selection) so that I can check it out myself.
