Refining crew skill levels
Has anyone noticed that the skill level of AI's has been expanded. Previously, Ai's could be set to be rookies, average, veterans, or aces, but this can be further refined (made customised) if you hit the [...] button next to the skill level combo-box. Individual crew skills based upon:
Basic flying - The pilot's skill at basic manouvers Advanced flying - The pilot's skill at advanced manouvers, such as dogfighting Awareness - The pilot's situational awareness Aerial gunnery - The pilot's skill with on-board weapons, & all gunners skills if in a bomber Tactics - The pilot's tactical prowess Vision - Distance at which the pilot is likely to notice other objects Bravery - ratio between foolhardiness & cowardice Discipline - Discipline in battle - staying in formation, following orders, etc So for example, you could have a rookie bomber pilot (low flying skills), who has above average bravery. Or perhaps a rookie pilot (low flying skills), who has a higher than usual degree of vision (ability to see other objects). |
Any way to set these using a script?
