Text comms in MP?
 

How do you set up the ability to enter text messsages to others in MP?

I get the impression that everyone else is able to do it without having to hit escape and go back to the Flag selection screen (which is the only way I can do it and not convenient).

1. Take a seat in a plane
2. Right mouse click somewhere free
3. Configure new info window
4. Set up Chat input / output
5. Set up window frame clor whatever you like
6. Change receiver to all or allies or server and chat

All I did was go into Options/Controls

Category: Chat

I assigned Send Message to a key and it uses the default information window as the chat box.

Personally I dislike chating while in game.

Thanks ....I don't use it much, prefer ventrillo.
