Auto Prop-Pitch on the 109E-4
Is it enabled properly? I haven't been able to figure it out. Pretty sure the E-4 had the ability for auto prop.

Maybe I am the only one who found it or am i deluded. Look under key comands and you will see you can assign a key to auto prop. It seems to work?
I am no fundi on the game though so I could be wrong. When I press an asigned key stuff changes the prop pitch either goes down or up? |
the command is there since game release - and its not the only command that has no sense/function in the moment. Just a look in the future :D
And yes, as the cockpit texture of the new E-4 is saying it has autoprop - it shoud get one , or 1C should edit this texture :D Time will tell. The supercharger handling of the Ju87 is also reversed to its cockpit texture (at least till the BETA that i dont use). low blower is at "Automatik" and automatic shifting is at "Bodenlader" :D |
Flying a E4 I went in a dive on some low cons from 6.5k. down to 4.5k. As the prop pitch can't go lower than 8.30 on the gauge I had to throttle back at 500/550kph cte speed from let say 5.5k with the prop rpm dangerously high at 2500.
As soon as I zoomed up, closing my rad while the speed was still high (to decrease the drag) and gradually increasing pitch the temp skyrocketed in a sec up to peak point where I had a governor failure. Then my prop was stuck at 9h45 for my entire flight back to base. I am not sure it's a bug but as I can't understand the logic of both incidents I am reporting this here. |
