Game Won't Start
 

Haven't played COD in a few days so when the new update came out i thought i would give it another go.

After updating my game by extracting the file i downloaded into the IL2 Cliffs od Dover registry i went to start the game.

When i double click the launcher Steam pops up with the Launching Cliffs of Dover and then the planein the crosshair comes up for a out 4 seconds, then it dissapears and then nothing.

It's like i never even clicked the launcher.

Any ideas?

Open Steam
Go to Library
"Right - Click" on Il2 - Cliffs Of Dover
Go to Properties
local Files
Click on Verifly Integrity of Game Cache
Wait a few minutes
Install Patch again !!!

I edited the link - even if the old one also works for me. :)

I have the same problem. Purchased the sim on Sunday and it ran fine. Now it will not start and have tried all the tips on the forums.

You have to right click on the zip file, select properties, and click on "Unblock" and OK, so that all the files are downloaded into the game file.

Chivas - that did the trick. Thank you.

Trying that now Chivas, have had no luck with any of the other options.
