Nice find barnestah! Thanks for sharing ;)
edit: all the models looks so real. Very good job. I'd dare to compare them with CM DiRT3 regarding realism look 8) |

Impressive.:o Great car details and particles, water and mud.
Depth of field Is nicely done too. I love It when It blurs far away. As I have mantioned before, maybe less saturation, would give a more natural look. I am not a fan of the cartoon-ish style DiRT2 also had. See what I mean? http://img215.imageshack.us/img215/3707/offroad8.jpg http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/3410/offroad8l.jpg |
Difference Is even more obvious In this example:

Yeh Totally agree with you there Luke. (nicely adjusted by the way)
In the second picture particularly it really does look improved over the first shot. Strange how in the vehicle pics in my first post look just right but in the game footage look over saturated. Suppose it's possible for them to change this if they agree with us? tho I guess it will be something a cleaver modder will be able to fix after the game has been released. Unfortunately that does not help the Xbox version much. |

But It's not only the cars look but all the whole enviroment (especially when In jungle or desert) that saturation Is extreme. Far beyond normal I'd say... I am aware that usually games have that 'look' so to Impress more, but please devs, give It a second though to give the game a more natural look (or an option to adjust It ourselves In graphics settings menu) :-P |
Fresh in today from the Russian side..

Spectacular! The forests/jungle look so alive! And the mud absolutely real!
