How do you make wave attacks?

I just have a quick question.

Suppose I want to have wave after wave of enemy try to breach a compound. How do I do this? Say every few mins a new wave with more troops and more vehicles arrives so it just gets harder and harder.

These vids from Blobbob22 were very helpful to me in figuring out the GEM Editor and explain how to make waves and stuff.
