Misc.Ramblings : Where is this Luftwaffe Airfield?
 

I think these two shots were pre-release, so the airfield shown with its great deco tower/terminal may not even be in France, but I'd like to fly there .Can any one name it & maybe give a map reference? Is it used at all in Missions so far as you can tell?

I don't remember which one it is, but it's the home base in one of the default QMB missions if you choose to fly axis.

There are two mid-channel dogfight missions, one at low altitude and one at a somewhat higher one. What you can do is select each of these missions, reduce the amount of enemy aircraft to zero through the QMB interface, turn for home the moment you spawn and engage some time compression until you reach the field and see what's there.

If i'm not mistaken, it's either one of the two airfields near Cherbourg, or Le Havre Octeville.
