Stream Offline?

Bought the digital download of the game today. Clicked the setup application, started installing, then quit, says updating stream, gets to 26% with 3 tries, then says stream is temporary down, try again later. Been trying all day but still will not update or finnish my install?......:(

I just started a game and Steam updated itself(not the game).

You might try going into the Steam settings and change your default Steam server location.

Ok, but ny game has not finnished installing, where do I look for the stream settings?

It tries to update itself, but stopped at 26% and says temerory not availible, try again later?

The main Steam page.In the upper left, click on Steam and then settings.Go to downloads+clouds and set location from the pull down menu.

Could you please clearify this some more? I have never got steam to come up yet. I can go online to the website if that is what you mean, but cannot bring anything up through the steam application?

I thought you had the Steam application installed and that it would not complete the update.

If you can not run the Steam application then you can not get to the settings.

Steam seems to be fine on my end?

You tried defraging your computer or reformating to solve this issue yet?

I used to have this issue but after re installing MS paint my problems went away.

Hope this helps!

You may want to try to uninstall and re-install steam.

Dont forget to defrag your computer as well, this helps in my opinion.
