Problems Installing Beta Patch Skins
 

I'm having a problem installing these - I'm getting an error message when I try to read the readme file in the download - when I click on it, it reverts back to the folder, so I can't read the readme. I've downloaded the skins beta twice now.
Has anyone else out there experienced a similar problem?

I've got some more info - would be grateful for some advice.

I have now downloaded the beta skins files four times now - each time without success!

I get the following after downloading:

- a folder named "Paint Schemes"

- an icon named "fb_3do20.SFS"; and

- a readme file


When I open the readme file I get the following error message:

"Runtime Error

Program: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 10\WINWORD.EXE

abnormal program termination"

When I click on the "OK" button. the readme disappears!

Would be grateful for any help on the subject.

Try and start Wordpad, (via Start, Programs, Accesories) and open the readme file from there.
