this week i had a couple of simulator fights with the number one of the list in simu-mode burniator.

i recognized that he was an deadly pilot and i had to loose some planes to know his skills better until i got him, where my crosshair wants him to be.

the thrill was, sometimes when i did not make his plane explode...only demage his plane...more than once! he was headding towards the ground and made the plane explode for an unconfirmed kill.

this was frustrating me because i allways bail out if i`m in an deadly situation and my plane manouvers no longer. he allways wins with just a couple kills more.

because he committed suicide instead of bailing and confirming the hit.

so i wrote a message to hin, that this is not what a real pilot would do and that he shall not understand me wrong, because i gave him tipps how to fly better (not in cornering, this he could do like hell!). i said that i just fly for fun and not to win...

he was verry angry and made me look like i was attaking him with words, and he said he had enough... i shall go in training mode, where i belong. he said there are no rules like bailing out, when ur heading towards the ground

now, i guess, he had me on blocklist

the reason for this thread is, that i want burniator to remove me from blocklist, because i never said a bad word to him and there are so few simulator games, i would like to have a chance to have appart.

and second reason for this thread is, to show, how u can get highscoreplaces like nothing. ignore that u are hit. ground the plane with full rudder and Ailerons and u will just loose ur life. make the gameroom open just for 10min and just set the minimal win score (i believe 20) and wait for ur victims. u will be astonished how fast u will climb the scores. yes, sure u need to be a good pilot to confirm ur kills too. except u allwas take il10 like some russian guy does...

i would not juse such strategies to improve my scores. the score does not say a bit about the pilots skills. there are tu less values to make an exact highscore.

for me there are rules in the game. simple accurat rules like

no bombs in cta
no grounding of an demaged plane

hmm thats funny ,because your on my block list for not bailing
there are some great sim pilots ,which makes it more frustrating when you put holes in their wings only for them to forget how to fly and crash with no kill awarded,,then off course spawn behind you and shoot you down
its not a leaderboard thing that annoys me about non bailers,its just you play the game to shoot planes down and get kills- not make people crash,some players know the games faults and exploit them,leave them to it and play realistic

By advance, sorry for other members, but it's funny (or sad ...) how things can be different, depending who tells, and of course with no witness...

Dementia, I have flown with/against many sim players here, many of them are members of these forum and great virtual aces, sometimes i win, sometimes i loose, and next day it'll be different, but you are the first to msg me to "explain" some rules.

During the longest part of our only one 1v1 fight, i had exactly the same feeling of your strategy, you crashed after some shots without any kill for me, and so what? That's the game, it's not a problem, in many case we think our plane is still manoeuvrable and try to escape and avoid other bullets (like a real pilot whatever you think).
Sometimes also, specialy when close to the ground, even when we try,we do not have time to select and valid the "bail out" option that the plane still crashes. Be sure that each time i have time enough to do so, i use to bail out, but one another thing is sure, i will never msg a player for that, i just think for me "i had to get a better aiming next time if i wan't to win"...

But you decided to msg me to explain me these rules about bailing out, and, more interesting, decided that escaping is not a tactic !!! Of course you also called me "rookie", that's always nice!

I understand you don't like loosing (me too, of course, that's human nature)but don't be so peremptory when you try to give lessons... escaping is one of the great principles of air combat (i have some real life knowledge about that, but that's not the subject). Much better (and safer) getting full wep, taking the protection of the ground and putting some miles between you and your agressor, when you don't have the full situation awarness, instead of beeing shot like a sitting duck without understanding anything. You 'll have all your time to come back with lots of knots and/or feet to kick his ass later.

You're right, i put you (or the pseudo you used: "kowihawk" ) on my blocked list (you are the second one after more than 3 years on PSN!) when i read your msg. This is just a game, we can not be friend with everybody (same as in real life) but we just try to play to the same game, with fun for everibody. Just to be precise, when i host, i select 10 mins (more in one game is too much for my old eyes and my nerves) and 40 for victory score (another thing different from what you tell...). I'm sure you have many sim friends, so you don't specially need to join my games (and i won't join yours).

i remember our little problem we got in a further cta game we had.
in that game i baild out any time i swear. one or two time i tried to land the plane to see if it is possible to land with heavy demage. certainly i did not reach the airfield and crash but thats an experience i made. its just possible to manouver the plane accurate on the landstripe with minimal demage. ok, i`ll decidet to declare that to an not succesfull startegie...

Davedog74, in our messages i tried to explain it to u and my english is not the best and it was during gaming too.

i said blocklist is bullshit because i do never block anyone and i thought u would see me bailing enough to declare the try to land action to an experiment.

i swear i bail out. i bail out even if there is just a few demage on my plane and i decide that i had no chance to engage my enemie. so he got less work to do and i can go to an new engagement with maybee better luck.

please remove me from blocklist, meister olife ermanica etc all had saw me bailing. the times for me to avoid an kill by enemies are gone since i changed my nick into walter ^^

first thing is, that we had a fight, i was loosing it because u where good, first class! i decided to improve my monouvers and i saw that i had a little chance to get u. then i loose again with just a fwe kill less cause u was graunding the plane obviously from enough altetude to bail out. my fault was, that i was thinking, i can do if u can do it. but without any positive resoult and i didnt like it and stoped the grounding with the new plane after spawning... i was loosing again with a few hit less.

the message had the topic to an rookie... i never ment to call u an rookie... in german it would be much easier to explain... i thought the stategie to avoiding kills though graunding the plane was rookie usual... not u are a rookie! u are no rookie. who is in the right to presume call someone a rookie? if it is only us, then u could do call me one... i said u are a good pilot, a bit better one than me.

i just explain u the bail out rule in the same way davedog told me, because it was conspicuous

and second things i wrote about not trying to hide from opponents throug flying straight on and gaining altitude at the same time, while the enemie is in fire range and behind... if u do not need such explainations, and u seem to like u dont need it for real (i realized later that u are top scorer on list!), than just read it and forget. i never ment to say ur a bad pilot. i`m sorry if it seems like i was calling u a rookie...

hm... i finaly did not understand all of ur answer but i think i was missunderstood because of my bad english.

the escence is, that u and i did not have to block each other.
if ur an usual player and u said it, that the values of the host did not matter to u like was trying it to look like, than it is ok. i believe it... but this particular matshes i had with u gave me that impression.

the reason why i do this here is to reach an point where we can play again together. u block me after one message and i had no choice to get contact with u from my ps3.

please remove me and let my take part at ur hosted games

please stop to look down at me this way. u shure had more hours at bop then me. u must be better...

if we can find a solution i would be glad and then this ``thread`` could be closed as helpfull.

I don't think that dedicating a whole thread to what is at best 'a whinge' about the fact you lost a 1v1 match is in any way constructive. All it serves to do is alienate yourself for the majority of the community. The words pot, kettle and black sprung to mind when I first read your post. As Dave has already mentioned you are one of the worst offenders for deliberately crashing. As for using the cta game as an example I find it amusing that you claim to be putting the gear down to land....show me the airfield part way between limpgne and hawkinge that you were attempting to land at...whilst inverted and shot to sh1t. You even state you 'used' to deliberately do it on your dementia 7 account. Sadly that's enough of a reason for not wanting to play in the same game as yourself. Rest assured Dave is not alone in blocking you. I give people the benefit of the doubt when crashes happen, as Burnator says there are times when you can't get out in time but most of us know whats an accident against a deliberate crash, and repeat offenders are not welcome in our games. It's as simple that.

I second that mate. It's a game. You lose some and you win some. If I could make a wish it would be that we focus more on skills than kills. That should include social skills as well...
