Some of our airmen are no longer missing

Stumbled upon this rather old documentary earlier and its superb. It follos the discovery of missing bombers and crew found in parts of Holland that have since been drained.

Some very touching moments throughout as lone survivors go back to the wreck of their bomber where their friends were killed.

Quite moving stuff.

I was in Blackpool today..

Imagine my surprise as I'm walking along the Prom, I look up there's a Lancaster, followed 10 mins later By the Vulcan, 5 mins later the Red Arrows. And it was sunny too!

Guess they were coming in for Southport tomorrow.

You should of said, i'd of come for a well deserved cold pint :D

They have been in and out a few times today, for Southport and also for Windermere.

They're staying over night and look rather eery on the tarmac in the dark (you can see them through the "viewing fence" by morrisons).

The Vulcan was a nice sight, since it wasnt landing so just flew by on the way to Windemere which it wasn't displaying at until the very last minute.
