I see this as an option to purchase in my reinforcements list, but every time I have tried, it does not show up, I know this is a towed gun, is there something else I need to do?

Infantry should drag it into the battlefield from the area where everything else comes in as well.

So you have something wrong in your client. Have you tried this multiple times?

Yes, several times, I even deleted and reinstalled the game, it deducts the mp but nothing appears. I get no announcement that reinforcements have arrived.

I had the same issue i was on Germany - caen outskirts and I kept ordering maxsons it gave me the radio sound and everything but nothing came.

Turns out this is a known issue, the guy at digitalmindsoft said he would look into it.
