Report Steam logoff's here please
i am trying to see pattern or event that is doing this and if there is any thing we can do about.
so to all server admins please report hours running time of logoff port activity prior to logoff S! |
almost 48 hours and my server is still up and running :) this is encouraging :)

nah, everyone on my list as been popping in and out due to disconnections. Its not related to IL2:COD... anyway and what can you do about it irregardless of IL2:COD ??? Also it may be a good idea to note what actuall steam server you are running on. Uk - Manchester server here for e.g.

hey guys when you server gets loged off please check your steam logs (not the game) and post the log off time here please , like below

Well, some time passed, has anybody found a solution to avoid or workaround the regulary steam log-offs?

The solution is to have actual dedicated server files like every steam game :D
That way the dedicated server never uses steam in the 1st place but only streams to the steam server via their server browser IP. So when steam fails, the only thing that happens is your server doesn't show up on the list for those few seconds, and doesn't get disconnected in the 1st place. |
Ok, I guess that means No? :(
If the launcher wouldn´t stop working, we could comfortly use HL, but that also is linked to steam, so how do you do this? Are you constantly supervising your server? :confused: |
