Help!!
 

Hi, guys. I have no idea how to beat the 4th mission of the 2nd Chapter. I can only break through German's first line of defence. But they have ATs, Artillerys and having constent reinforcements, not to mention mines as well. Can any experienced player please enlighten me. Thanks a bunch.

Hey Flanker, I'd like to help, but '4th mission of the 2nd Chapter' doesn't exactly ring any bells.

What's the campaign and the name of the specific mission? It's been years since I've last played the game. I'd wager the vets who could assist you are better at remembering names instead of numbers.

Once I know which mission you're talking about, I'll be glad to post a few hints (if I can remember my playthrough tactic) to put you on the right track.

I think he will be refering to THE CRIMEAN OFFENSIVE - THE KEY TO KERCH ???

My tactic was to concentrate the troops I controlled on the right side and work my way up and arount the rear from the top right corner.

The big problem is the 150 mm heavy howitzers (long range and fires over cover/obstacles with a huge explosive power) and other longer range heavy weapons - You need to do some trial and error, work out their range radiuses and use 'sneeky sniper' style tactics to get round and take out the crews.

For instance, Patric's video walkthrough provides some excellent tactics for beating the map.
