V.14762 BETA Download Links

Hi everyone,

The beta patch is here.

I want to stress once again that the patch is a BETA. The reason it’s a beta is because we need to test it. If we were sure there were no bugs, we’d be releasing it retail.

The most important change is the new multiplayer GUI. Please test it, and let us know how you like it. A small additional part will be added to it on Friday, which will allow you to switch between the army - player list you see now, and an old-style plane – position list which allows you to quickly switch between available positions a-la Il-2 co-op.

What we’re looking for in this beta is information on any crashes or any other errors you encounter. If you see errors in your console (shift-tab by default) you can enable logging in the game’s conf.ini (set LOG=1 and LOGKEEP=1) and then post any errors encountered along with the brief description of how you got there in

If they show up in the game console, enable logging in your conf.ini by setting

Do you have a roadmap of planned updates for the sim?
I'm not asking for deadlines or estimated dates of release but could you give us an idea of what areas of the sim will be focussed on in the coming months?

Can you acknowledge awareness of the most frequently commented issues posted in the forums?
ie AI behaviour, radio commands, FMB development and documentation
Is there any further progress on the appointment of a community manager?
