yes there is.
It will be created in your
C:\Users\XXX\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover
and is called. Log.txt ...up to now.

You should be able to set it true or false in your conf.ini
[console]
LOG=0/1

It´s not the same as in IL-2 1946, is it?

All I see is a chatlog.

Am I doing something wrong or is a detailed log planed?

Log is not needed any more as far as I understand as most of game events can be accessed via C# script and saved directly into a database (or text log if needed for some reason).

Let´s say wanted to run SEOW campaign, then I would need some kind of readout of what happened where to what object in order be able to continue/plan a new mission.

Where do I find that and how?

Emil if your after that kind of data look at WildWillies ClodCommander.

You or one of your squad-mates who is in IT can write a C# script that outputs specific data you need for your missions generator into a database. Or you can ask for such a script in the FMB section http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/forumdisplay.php?f=203

New mission generation is a more difficult task than receiving data from a previous mission IMO. If you have a mission generator it should not be a problem to get data from a mission it previously generated.
