Wings Of Prey £5 on Steam today only
 

Anyone with a half decent PC should buy this from Steam. If nothing else it's a nice fallback for PS3 users for when PSN gets hacked again! Offer on until 6pm GMT

The Steam Holiday sale has Wings of Prey at $9.99 and the Wings of Luftwaffe add on for $7.49. The sale ends Jan. 2nd.

Futureshop in Canada has Cliffs of Dover on final clearance at $19.99. There are no more available online so check your local store.

Just got back from Futureshop and not only did I get the last copy but it was marked down to $5. Just waiting on my new video card.

A complete steal, and Wings of the Luftwaffe is also worth grabbing.

Played two missions; first shot an entire wing off a bomber and it kept flying around performing dives and climbs :confused:, the next mission the machine guns went into a sound loop. Framerates are poor at best, and dip into single digits at worst. And this is after all the patches...

I also downloaded it before xmas. I've had no such problems. What set up are you using?

i5 2500K / GTX560Ti / 4GB RAM / Win7 x64

Hmm.. try going to the "library" section of steam, right click on the link to "IL2: Cliffs of Dover" and select "Properties". Then go to the "Local file" tab in the window it brings up (along the top) and click on "Verify integrity of game Cache".

Not sure if it would work, but it's worth a try!

Sorry if that is a little patronising, explaining it simply is the only way I can tell my sister how to fix things xD And
