an advice for those who cant run the game at good fps

in the conf. ini you can set resolution at 640*480 or 600 *800

heres myself playing multiplayer at 80 fps 640*480

i would say my eye cant tell 800*600 than 2000*2000 at certain distance

yes im miope

Clod for gameboy? nice

raaaid 06-05-2011 03:13 PM

i think tghe only game i ever played at a higher res than 640*480 its counterstrike

for me the fun its the competition and there performance is key, i prefer 80 bad looking fps than 30 good looking ones

edit:

also rememebr to run it at full screen in the conf, ini

but what's the point in owning Cliffs of Dover then? why bother owning anything better than a win 95 machine...........it is your own oppinion that trackir is a decadent luxury because people are starving.........you do realise that using the internet is contributing to global warming because you are using electricity.

"but what's the point in owning Cliffs of Dover then?"

i bought it with the exclusive intend to support a comunity that has been nice with me whre most havent

the same reason why i made this post :)

edit:

"why bother owning anything better than a win 95 machine"

do you mean the fastest system ever?

do you really think new is neccesarily better?

Fjordmonkey 06-05-2011 03:25 PM

Running the game in 800x600 on a 24" monitor is something I'll do after the Jotunheim mountains fall, Pigs have successfully flown in orbit around Mars and there's a lasting peace in the middle east. In that order.

Your suggestion is about as useful as a wet sock is in an oilrig-fire.

something doesn't add up there.....why would anybody not be nice to you? are you a different character in these other communities?

I know I'm going to get myself targeted as a mean old bully by criticising you again Raaaid but the very thin veil you wear of a simple and good spirited community minded character doesn't fool me....and I imagine that's what happened in other forums.

Yes new is better.......because the tech advances.......how is it you need that explaining?

Qpassa 06-05-2011 03:41 PM

Who are you exactly raaaid? You're a remarkable individual you know.

Like fjordmonkey says though, it'll be ragnarok before I play clod on that resolution.

In the future, when my wristwatch has enough processing power and it's own screen, I wouldn't fly it in that resolution.

Speaking of competition, how can you see the important details at that resolution!? Can you even see your own bullets? :P
