Hi Skinners,

please, can someone make me a Bf 109E-3 skin? I have some AeroMaster Decals and there is an aircraft from JG 51. :rolleyes:

BF 109E-3 White2 4/JG51 flown by Ofw Hans Illner.

The aircrafft has his girlfriend name on it GRETEL. On the tail you can see 3 kill marks. Spinner is yellow.

Whats funny, on the radiator you can see lips smoking a cigarette. :eek:

If a profile is needed, i can scan the decals and information sheet. :)

The Eagle Strike decal does not have this. Also the Jagdwaffe volume reports the smoke from the cigarette as gray and black. The decal is printed as red and white. This could come down to photo interpretation.
As to other markings carried by this aircraft, Illner had the name of his girlfriend, Gretel, painted on the fuselage as well as a pair of dice above the name and a yellow clover below.
The aircraft also carried the weeping bird emblem of II./JG 51. At first look, it appears that the legend under the bird is “Gott strafe England”.
