Snapping View

Hi Guys,

I've been away from CLoD for a few weeks now due to work commitments, but when I returned I saw that a new update had installed. Brilliant I thought as my FPS had improved as well as a massive reduction in stuttering, but when I view around using my hat switch, the view will snap back constantly. :(

Any ideas how to resolve this?

My Joystick is a Topgun Afterburner 2...so not the greatest in the world but it was working perfectly fine before. :!:

Hmmm, do you have steam cloud synchronization enabled? If not you may have outdated control configs.

Not sure otherwise since I use trackIR

HIya,

Thanks for the response. The Steam Cloud Syn is enabled.

I'm still having the same problem with 1946. It used to look around and stay pointin in the same direction, but after playing around with the views it now centres back to the gunsight view...very annoying as I can't seem to look over my shoulder anymore.

FYI it happened when I cycled through the F1-12 buttons, using Shift, Alt, Fn and Ctrl buttons, so you may want to try them (at the risk of screwing up any other views you've set up :-P)

F9 toggles between snap and pan view. You might have to reset the hat in those 2 categories in the key mapping section.

The update may have set the config back to default.

F9 I think is the toggle pan/snap views(i use freetrack with wiimote) check options/control/keys/snap - toggle snap-pan at the bottom.
