Finally!
 

After what must be hundreds of failed attempts to land the Spitfire I finally did it! 6 times in a row.
Now I can finish off the Inspect Airfield mission and be done with it. I tried the Aviator Layout and landing, and more importantly stopping with the Spit, was easy.
Flying in general felt easier. Even got my first kills online and won the match!
The latter part I think was more luck.

Having this love/hate relationship with BoP this was a boost.
For quite some time I have loved the game more when actually not playing...
Frequent visitor on this great forum.
For sure I will try my wings online more now.

Find it a somewhat annoying though that the different layout options also make the planes behave differently...

Congratulations D16. I hope to see more in the virtual skies. Although I am not an ace, see an enemy fall after I hit it, worth the effort.

Landing that Spit is a B@#$%$ I figure Im a good landing player . But the Spit I avoid for its nose over.

I asume we are talking sim here with the spits stupid 30mph nosedive. Well done on mastering it, its a bitch isn't it. Oh and I like your avatar, Draken is one of the coolest planes ever!

Sorry Bucket, I needed to take a break from xbox live. With the news of Birds of steel giving me interest again, I expect you will see me in the skys again soon :)
