Modify QMB plane list?
 

Hello, I rapidly search on forum, but without result, so: I remember the option of modify QMB plane list in a recent TD patch, and in 4.10 guide I read "[...]You can also create two additional plane lists on your own: QMBair_2.ini and QMBair_3.ini. Place them in the Missions/Quick/ folder. The structure of the files must look something like this:
[AIR]
BeaufighterMk21
BlenheimMkIV
BI-1
BI-6
BuffaloMkI[...]. Also you can add the line DumpPlaneList=1 to [QMB] section and the game will dump the list of all planes in correct format to Missions/Quick/FullPlaneList.dump file."

I don't understand where I can add the bolted [QMB] line...

hello majofaiture, obviously I tried in conf.ini before post this question here, but I didn't found the .dumb file in missions/quick...
maybe I make something wrong... I will retry :)

for some reason, in my installation, adding the line have no result...
can someone give me the 4.13.2 planelist.dumb file? thank you very much! :)

Add this to the bottom of your conf.ini file and save.

[QMB]
DumpPlaneList=1
PlaneList=2


Default Location: C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Missions\Quick\FullPlaneList.dump
This file will not overwrite itself so each time you close the game it will write the entire list to this file. It also is not 100% accurate since it does not list the IK-3, 1941 (IK_3) and quite probably some others but I haven't taken the time to check every plane in the FMB list.

I add the suggested lines to conf.ini, but without result... probably I need a complete new install of il-2, maybe I messed up something... :)

The lines have to be entered exactly like the ones in my earlier post or they won't work.

Are you using a stock or modded version of the sim?
Which version of the game is it?

Hello, I copy-paste the lines you post early, but nothing happen
I'm using 4.13.2, with sas modact 6.2 (but "deactivated") on windows 10

for now I play the "stock" and use your list + new planes in last patches, copied from air.ini in the "sasmod" folder, and organized by nationality (urss, german, british, italian, usa, japan, others).
hoping not leave some planes behind!
btw, thank for your help :)

It may be the fact you are using a modded version. I have never tried it in my modded versions to confirm it works. I will now though. ;)

I finally reinstall il-2 46, and with a complete stock 4.13.2 I have the .dumb file!
