Activation damaged
 

Greetings.
I have run into a problem with activation of the game. I changed hardware configuration of my PC, and, as expected, the game asked for re-activation. So I let it. The window for finished activation was shown, however, after that, the activation program froze. Any attempts at ressurecting it were futile, therefore, I used the task manager to shut it down.
Now, every time I try to run the game, I get an error that says the application cannot be run due to damage to the activation key integrity. Reactivation doesn't work, and neither does an attempt at deactivation.
I suspect the error is tied to the activation program and not the game itself. Is there any solution to this problem?
