Dgen?

Is this feature planned for the future? i hate static gameplay, and a DGEN would certainly wake up my interest as i am mostly a offline gamer.

Couldn't agree more.

Maddox games have no experience with creating dynamic campaign systems. Dgen was outsourced and DCG was a third-party effort.

The Rise of Flight team however have taken up the challenge and it is due for release at the end of May.

Yes, that would be nice since the online component is more or less broken and the static campaigns are a little uninspiring (no offence luthier). It's quite troublesome and time consuming to have to build every mission on your own, the quick missions only last so long. Being mainly offline on can always dream eh?

Feathered_IV: Why oh why does Rise of Flight have to be a WW1 sim? If that game was set in WW2 I would've bought it yesterday.:)

Fully agree, i would like to have a SGEN or DCGen to......

TeeJay82 05-08-2011 02:52 PM

and how long has it taken them?

2 years and still counting, not that i'm not looking forward to it, cause offline for the last 2 years has been crap.

yes why i dont play it much but appreciate it for what it is now.

Well the DCG was and is still developed by Paul Lowengrin, who lives abroad in the "new world".As the release there will be at the end of may he cant bother too much about the game.
Further more i guess it will take around 6 month to get the game running properly.

The mis files are very similar to the il2 ones, so a port from Il2 to Cod for DCG wouldnt be that hard.

Keep things going an i am sure next year this time we ll have already the first DCG in Cod or a similar dynamic mission generator.
