Il-2 1946 Problems (Steam)
 

So I bought Il-2 1946 off Steam, and since it didn't auto-update I decided to install the patches 4.10m and 4.10.1m manually in the Il-2 folder (yes, I installed them in order).

Before the install, I already had UP 2.01. And I'm running Windows 7.

So when I opened JGSME (the mod activater), 00_Stock_4.10.1 doesn't appear. And when I try to run the game it doesn't run or load.

What could have possibly gone wrong?

Il2 1946 includes all previous patches up to 4.07. Then you patch with 4.08m and then 4.09m.....Then 4.10

unless the steam version is diff somehow

Those are already installed, and in order as well.

Try run the UPUpdate.exe, in UPUpdate folder, that usually fix problems after installing patches.
