Planes vanishing in the middle of the air in MP when player hits the silk
I don't know if this is an issue or not but...
I've been playing some missions on MP servers and I've noticed that when you damage an enemy plane and the enemy pilot bails out, his plane vanishes in the middle of the air as soon as he bails. I do not know what the rest would think about this, but I think it would be nice that changes could be done to the game in order to let the enemy plane have a reasonable amount of time to let it crash into the ground or sea, as it is really impressive (and gratyfying too :grin:) seeing the enemy plane going down after you shot it down. This new sim has really improved the effects for smoke, fire, etc ... so it would be even more spectacular take advantage of this and let the planes go down properly. It would also help people who is interested in making movies out of MP tracks. Don't know what the rest think. |
Not a game change is required, but a missions change. Currently, some servers are running missions with scripts, whose remove empty planes, Unfortunately, those scripts are not designed for such situations like bail outs and they instantly remove empty plane.
I think this will be resolved in near time. Mission designers needs time to get into abilities of mission engine (and lack of documentation does not make it easy). |
