Performance in multiplayer depends on the server

Just to notice, i played on various multiplayer servers and concluded one thing.
My fps depends on quality of game server.

I was played first on uknown server 7/16 people, probably someone has created, not dedicated, my fps over channel is around 28-30 with a LOT stuttering. I was like wtf, i know when i go single player i have much bigger fps?? So i change server and go to syndicate or something like that, and got massive improvement, i haved around 50-60fps over channel.

i have the same effect
i have only 512mb grafikram and thats the problem i think
when the server runs a lot of time many airplanes are idle on ground
every player have to make a new group
many players damage the airplane and choose a new one
to much for 512mb grafikram i think

but
cod is everytime epic :)

By looking at the task manager in the dedicated machine, this takes twice the resources (memory wise) to run compared to a ROF server. So what you're saying makes sense.

We have a 12 core cpu, 1gpbs connection, and almost almost 50 gigs of DDR3. The problem currently is the dedicated software (if you want to call it that) is full of bugs and problems. The server isn't breaking a sweat running the game, but the errors are causing many crashes.

I know it's arcade, but there's a volcano mission running right now that has had the AI removed from it. I'm trying to at least be able to provide a stable environment for people to practice fighting other humans. Until the dedicated software gets addressed, I'm afraid this may be the only option. The other alternative is to run the big map and have it crash in 30 minutes. (even though this might crash soon as well)

Time will tell if this slimmed down map makes things better or not. But your performance should never suffer on our server.. It's overkill for game hosting. As an international squad, we don't like lag :)

This is just the truth. My conclusions as exactly the same as yours.

hey syn - i was on your server (volcane) and it works fine
before he creashed he had an masive lag i think
he was down for a min. and come back for some seconds before he crasht - or shut down
mission was ok for simple dogfightpracise
only to much spit2 hunting us :) - but thats the game

Bliss, are you also experiencing heavy lag with players with spikes of 100,000 of ping ? It seems random, and leaves as quickly as it comes.

last mission i become an steamerrormessage via cod-consoleoutput
seconds later the server crashed
it was the mission over channel with the massive bomberformations
i shoot down 4 of them - performence was ok
check the screen
