How to start 2nd Bomber engine?

S!

im wondering how to start the second engine of bombers in multiplayer... i cant get them on for some reason. For example He111, i start the first engine and it works fine, but the second one doesnt want to start for some reason... what do i have to do?

Same for the Ju88 and Blenheim...

and when i press autopilot the engine starts somehow, and when i disable the autopilot its off again

you need to toggle each engine, use the keymap to find the engine toggle and assign whichever keys suit you, and remember to assign a toggle all engines key to use both engines at the same time

and you have to open the fuel for every engine seperatly !

thanks, you helped me a lot... but its stupid that you cant control the fuel for each engine by just selecting them

If you don't have complex engine management on you just press I or something and both engines will start (I think?) if you have complex engine management on, well ... it gets a bit more complex.

frankyboy alread told me that i had to switch each single fueltank for both engines on, it was the solution

Btw, whats the cock fuel #3 doing in the Blenheim?

JG53Frankyboy 04-15-2011 11:26 AM

hey, it took me almost 2 days to get behind that :D
i recognized it when in the He111 only one of the big fueltank levers came up.....

#2 is hidden pretty good in the JU 88. Wish the fuelcocks were set up like the magnetos, where a button operates whichever engine(s) is selected.
