Dense forests question
A question on dense forests, as opposed to a dense question about forests, hopefully. I actually live in the south of England, so I pretty much fly over where I live (ten minutes from Tangmere). My question is: around us to the north are the South Downs, which is a hilly ridge, mainly covered in quite thick coniferous forest. However, in COD, it only shows occasional leafy trees. Can dense forests not be recreated as basically a "block" instead of individual trees? I.e. just a big square block with high sides and a textured top. I don't know much about how sims work, but just thought it'd be a way of showing a forest.

Back then maybe it wasnt as dense as now?? |
Problem is viewing on low angles, as evidenced in IL2. I think they are trying to do something of the sort but apparently it's not quite as easy as it sounds in theory without it looking like total ass.

Thanks. The forests round here are definitely older than 70 years. :) If anything, they've chopped down more to build more houses. They've also missed our lovely Worthing Pier. Too bad, would have been nice to be able to Stuka-bomb it to get rid of the d*mn thing... Now, where's my mother-in-law's house...
