I can attain a nice smooth 35 - 40fps...

F3 view, keep circling so the camera is not changing position results in a very nice smooth frame rate even when the camera is panning around to keep the aircraft in view, it's as soon as the viewpoint (camera or in pit) has to translate (not sure that's the correct terminology) in the x, y or z directions that the stutter starts happening.

I guess this is kinda obvious yes? I've had a few so be nice... :D

I figured if I can get to the blurred vision stage it'll all be good and might even improve my gunnery :D

Good man, you just reminded me I have a beer in the fridge.

The stuttering can certainly be attributed to objects being rendered.

Over the channel.

Looking out the canopy forwards I'll have 35FPS;
Viewing the cock-pit (fills the view) 32FPS;
Look side-ways so I can see sea and a wing - 45FPS;
Straight up through the canopy (no clouds) - 60FPS;
Straight up with canopy open (no clouds) - 70FPS.

I was amused to see the canopy shave off 7-10 FPS.

Fly inland.

25-30FPS avg.
Fly over buildings can dip to 11FPS in places.

It's especially noticable being stationary on an airfield and just move your view around.

New objects, exisiting ones appear to be fine.

Certainly new ones. But fly around a small village at 1000ft, then fly over the same village skimming the roof-tops. ;)

Yes, that would be new LOD objects :)

How do i remove all that irritating onscreen text messages (radio messages?) and the box where i chat with other players? I cant seem to find the key that removes those two boxes!

Really appreciate the help!

And wow, COD is tough! I had to lower my flightstick sensitivity to 0.5 from 1!
