Canopy damage decals?

Quick question really:

Will we be able to see damage decals applied to transparencies ingame?

explained:

Will there ever be glass-effect bullet holes for the canopies? Right now bullets don't apply decals to glass like it does to fuselage, but glass does have a damage 3D model (shows cracks and missing glass pieces).

I see a challenge there though if you want that effect, because realistically you would have to apply the same texture to the cockpit 3D model too at the exact same spot. Sounds like a little work, but just thought I'd ask :)

In a different thread, I saw someone post these pics showing internal canopy damage reflected on the outside model. ( Sorry, I don't know whose pics they are - maybe in the screenshot thread )

I had bullet holes in my canopy last time I played. It showed inside and outside of cockpit. They were very well down holes and cracks btw. So maybe sometimes it renders and sometimes not?

i havent seen any, but maybe i didnt get hit in the canopy yet and i have airpland and DM set on high.

i do hope there is DM on the glas. DM in CoD is one of the reasons why i bought this game ;)
