Leval Bombing

Anyone have any luck with this?

Been trying with the HE111p.

Set autopilot

Go to Bombadier look in bomb sight set speed / alt / arm bombs / open doors.

Hit key to drop and nothing happens. (even tried jettison)

Looking from external view and there dosn't seem to be bombs in plane.

Tried changing load out and same results.

hi ive been having a headache over this, like its bugged...i was doing it from fmb on 1 of the small maps

I would love to try it, but I think I have to get a better graphic card for that, as my planes are bouncing around all over the place.

The quick mission generator is bugged, loadouts set in the options/plane screen often/usually are not recognized in the QM generator.

If you create a mission in the FMB it works though. Of course, since I haven't figured out the autopilot yet (hey devs, a manual actually explaining important stuff would be really helpful, ya know?) any kind of precision bombing using the LotFe sight is pretty much impossible anyway...

I have been trying it in single player missions just setting all the plane numbers to 0 and leaving one at 1 so I can fly around and figure it out.

It seems your flying around with no bombs.

Default loadout has no bombs and custum loadout dosn't work so it makes it rather hard to bomb.

Doors don't open on the Ju88 or the Br20 with the open door command.

Jettison opens the doors on the Ju88 but then you cant close them dosn't seem to work on the other bombers.

F1 loosen straps to look in bomb sight this needs to be changed to gunsight/bombsight view very confusing and took a while to figure that out.

Bombers need more testing they look like they can be fun to use if you could acually get the loadout fixed.

This was explained to me on a different thread about FMB:

It works.. After making the flight or the plane, in the tab for properties go to the weapons.. there is a small square button far to the right.. click it and all the weapons appear including the MG/s scroll down to the Bomb bay and then select from the drop down menu what bombs you want.

Hope this helps

Have not tried Horizontal Stabilizer.

From pilot I put it in auto pilot (A) switch to bomber. (C)
Look in bombsight (F1)
Adjust bombsight
Open doors
Arm bombs
Go to outside view look into Bombay and its empty. (Using default load out)
Try to drop or jettison but nothing happens because there are no bombs.

There is a mission with custom load out and I can go through these presses and see bombs in the Bombay but can’t get them to drop one bomb actually falls out not long after the doors are open on its own.

I know how to use the load out system but it doesn’t work or save your settings and I'm using single missions to test it.

if you build a misison in FMB, and save there a bombloadout, the loadout is saved anduseablke in thw whole game. the Aircraft menu, at least for me, i did nit get the sence behing it so far...
But dont forgett to give this bombload the planes name too, because ,as example, a Ju88 loadout of 4 SC250 and 28 SC50 appears for all planes...... this game is such a rubbish, its unbelivable.
