spitfire low rpm only
 

Hi,

I'm getting around 2200 rpm only on the spit.
And dont seem to be able to find the manual proppitch settings.
have tried mapping them in the config screens to no avail.
Anybody reccognising this?

If you are flying with CEM turned off, then yes - you will spend most of your time coarse locked. Don't remeber the defaults but without CEM turned ON that wouldn't help much either.

I have found that it is necessary to start and take off in Lean mixture setting according to the cockpit animation, the actual mixture and the lever animation seem to be reversed. The cockpit lever and Rich/Lean positions are correct (Rich rearward, Lean forward) but I can't get enough power in Rich, as it should be, only in Lean. You can check this out in the Training "First Solo" in the Hurricane.

Of course that limits the power and revs.
