My TrackIR wont work
 

I have TrackIR 4 running the 5.0.300 drivers and when I fire up CoD there is no blue light coming on and it does nothing when in the game.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Try driver 5.1.3. with date 18/3/2011. It migth help

what OS are you running?
admin priveledges not set im guessing

had issues my self until i allowed admin rights

My track ir 5 works out of the box without any additional setup. It is very jerky, so it will need tweaking but it does work. This on Win7 64x latest drivers.

Hi Guy's - Yes I am running Windows 7 64bit and my TrackIR software is running as admin.

I tried the latest drivers before I got CoD and they would not work on my machinhe and so had to go back to the older ones.

TrackIR works fine in IL2 and Rise of Flight. Maybe I didn't install CoD as and admin, although the game starts up ok?

Good to hear you sorted out your problem.

For everybody else, I had exactly the same problem when I installed Win7-64 on my rig yesterday:

unistall the trackir SW (if you already installed it)
REMOVE the TRACK IR Hardware from the USB slot
restart PC and reinstall TRACKIR SW
reboot (I do not know if you must but I usually do)
connect TRACK IR hardware in the USB slot (you wll see Win7 recognises and installs the drivers)

The TrackIR will work perfectly :-)
