Looking for recommendations for your new rig?? System builders chime in!
Hey guys
Since it looks like a lot of us will be looking towards upgrading or downright getting a new PC for COD, I thought we should do a community effort to try to come up with great advice we can all use towards spending our hard earned cash. I've created a public google spreadsheet you can all view and edit so we can come up with proposed system configs. In order to avoid the usual intel vs. amd or nvidia vs. ati debates, I have created categories combining your favorite brands. You can create a system in as many categories as you wish, according to your preferences. The main idea behind this is to allow people to list the specs to their dream machines according to the budgets I've outlined. After some time (a couple of weeks?), we will vote on our favorite configs, and we'll pick a winner for each category/budget combination, and I'll post them here. Authors of the winning configs get a cookie! The spreadsheet is free to edit, as long as we try to respect the general template I've outlined on the first sheet. Feel free to add lines if you need more space to list your components within a budget. To get the ball rolling, I've listed some specs I've been working on for a $1500 intel+nvidia pc. Let's hear from you all now! Here's the spreadsheet: https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?...thkey=CNjP5OgG |
Could you do one with € prices as the majority of us are in this part of the world currently. Prices somewhat different as well seeing as we have VAT to consider :)

I guess I don't get it...There is nothing filled in on the spreadsheet.
