Launcher.exe crash on sound.dll
 

I was first able to play with low performance, then after changing the video configuration in the option menu, I then entered in "Audio" part dans clicked on detect, then when doing apply it crashed back to windows. Now each time I start the game, I can see the crosshair for a few seconds then it crashes (Launcher.exe exception in sound.dll) every time I start the game.

I tried to uninstall from steam (and deactivate steam cloud) and re-download the whole thing, but it still crashes every time ...

I'm on Windows XP SP3 (with all latest priority updates from Microsoft)

Anyone has a clue what can I do now ? Because, I can't launch the game anymore ...
