COD will not load 'offline'
 

Tried SP off line and CoD will not load. Also tried launching direct from the game folder , same error message - Steam and on-line connection needed to play.....

We were told that CoD will not need a permanent internet connnection so where am I going wrong?

Start steam,and then set it to offline mode by clicking on the name 'steam' in the top left hand corner,and clicking 'go offline' in the drop down menu.
To play,steam has to be running.

I´m an offliner, so, I´ll need to be all the time conected to Steam to play this sim?

No, you can run the game eve if you don't have internet access. The Steam client can be run in off-line mode.
