The Spitfire is 75!
It is called the most beautiful plane of WW2. It's a legend & larger than life. It got something that's beyond articulating, and the guys still alive to tell they flew them, are approaching 100...
A lot has been said and written about the crate, as I understand the pilots called the bird during the war, and I just wondered... Is all said? Is that really possible?! The Spitfire is still flying. I just want to congratulate! |
A whole lot of care must be going into the airworthy ones left. They weren't really built to last 75 years! Hopefully they'll keep em flying as long as spare parts are available.
