Oleg please explain what the hell is going on

I understand game has been released in russia and very soon the rest of europe
why is the game being released april 26th in Canada?
why the huge delay?
no one from ubi seems to answer this simple question

The game is so hugely bugged right now that I am glad that I am not a beta tester.

When do you all understand that Oleg as developer isn't responsible for releasement? Ask UBI in their forums after why, when and where.

What the hell is going on Oleg, I was expecting a nice chicken curry tonight but it looks like we're having fish. I do like fish, but it's not what I was expecting, I was really looking forward to a curry.

It's really unacceptable of you Oleg, you'd better explain what's happened to my dinner immdiately.

They're not going to release the game outside russia for a while.
First they have to fix it, cos' atm it's unplayable.
That's why the delay.

If they released it in the west in its current state, it would be a disaster.

i was expecting fish, and it now appears that curry is what i shall be having. i am most displeased at this mix up and with getting tirgaaar's curry instead, and i DEMAND that it be an option to transfer our dinners right now, or else i shall be cancelling any future orders for fish.

I remember when Armed Assault was released back in 2006 i think, it was first releasd in Czech Republic/Russia then they fixed all (or the biggest) bugs and released Arma in the rest of the world with patch 1.02 or somethink similar. Looks like Oleg and team does the same thing with CoD :) correct me if Im wrong

Feuerfalke 03-25-2011 05:18 PM

Why look at other games?

IL2 was very polished, but the team had enough time.
IL2FB was buggy and very slow with graphics overwhelming most PCs.
Pacific Fighters was missing content and vital elements.
1946 was quite nice but with huge delay after Russian release.

So, why don't you guys calm down and relax. It's a game. The world's not gonna stop turning or falling apart!

MD_Titus 03-25-2011 05:30 PM

are you sure feuerfalke? what guarantees (such as the development team's first born children) can we expect?

I don't mean to offend anyone, but the average user in Russia probably has a more moderate machine that we do in Europe or the US.

Of course there are lots of people in Russia with good machines (it's a huge country). But the average person with an interest in gaming won't have a great machine.

This reminds me of when FSX first came out. I could hardly play it on a new computer. It's not surprising if an average comp' comes to it's knees.

I still want it badly.
